What are EMV's?

Enterprise Marketing Vouchers are a way of helping your business, charity or social enterprise to access funding to implement marketing projects. In most cases your growing business or charity is likely to be operating on a limited budget and may not have a marketing specialist to hand. You may see an opportunity to market the business or get a project off the ground that needs identity, a website and communication or display materials. Alternatively you may have a small budget but need help and support to consider how you generate new business or raise your profile.

By applying now your business could access matched funding towards the cost of your marketing. The process is simple with very little eligibility criteria.

In order to be considered you need to...

• Be running a business, charity or social enterprise that is located in or employing people in Yorkshire and the Humber.
• Have a clear marketing requirement that you can demonstrate has the potential to generate more business and requires the skills of a creative designer, web developer or marketeer.
• Be in a position to match any funded time with a minimum investment of £1000 plus vat.

The scheme is designed to match you with a creative agency or individual who can deliver the work for you with matched funding to remove some of the cost. It does not cover the cost of print or other commodity purchases but can be used for most aspects of marketing implementation and will come with coordination support.

Please note the following...

• You cannot draw down money for your business through the scheme.
• Funding cannot be accessed for print, hosting or other commodity purchases.
• You will need to be happy working with Sugarcane Creative or its carefully chosen partners.
• The scheme is open to established business as well as startups and charities.
• You may be required to work at distance on your project if regular visits to Sheffield are prohibitive.
